BAE Systems IT Program Manager in Sterling, Virginia

Job Description

IT Program Management support to develop and maintain programmatic data ranging from project plans, artifacts, waypoints, timelines, implementation planning, transition, and project closeouts supporting data collection exploitation platforms that support or enhance the data collection process.

Work requirementS

  • Lead the integration of current and future efforts, ensuring smooth coordination across different technical teams and program initiatives.

  • Serve as the liaison on technical matters between leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Facilitate collaboration among multi-technical disciplines (data, development, and infrastructure) and client's teams, ensuring that projects align with the long-term goals and technological standards.

  • Support cross-functional team meetings and coordinate efforts across various domains to ensure seamless project integration.

  • Communicate project updates, technical challenges, and solution strategies to leadership and stakeholders, to enable transparency and effective decision-making.

  • Assist executive team in prioritizing efforts, managing schedules, and making informed business decisions related to technology projects.

  • Assist in planning and managing multiple projects involving infrastructure and exploitation platforms.

  • Collect, organize, or create program artifacts, in support of data collection requirements.

  • Provide coordination across organization and business partners to expedite data sharing, processing and governance activities.

  • Assist in improving existing processes to enhance operational efficiency and work to ensure timely project completion.

  • Assist in managing evolving mission priorities for current technologies, including adapting to changes in mission needs.

  • Coordinate the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for senior leadership.

  • Serve as a liaison between project teams and leadership to facilitate timely project updates and decisions.

  • Shall be expected to travel overseas for work approximately 1 week out of every month.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Demonstrated experience serving as the primary point of contact for a program for all technical, cost and schedule performance matters and issues.

  • Demonstrated experience overseeing daily operations for a program.

  • Demonstrated experience managing assigning, providing oversight and reviewing work of program personnel.

  • Demonstrated experience ensuring necessary programmatic and technical artifacts required to effectively and successfully manage the program are created, maintained and are accurate.

  • Demonstrated experience consulting with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess needs and mission priorities.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Systems Engineering or related field.

  • OCONUS TDY experience leading or managing technical projects.

  • Demonstrated experience with communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and leadership teams.

  • Demonstrated experience preparing program management artifacts such as presentations or reports.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
