WHO WE ARE
We're seeking a highly skilled Sr. Reliability Engineer to join our team at our Stratford, CT office location. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and maintainability of our aircraft systems, with a focus on supporting the Air Force's HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter and Advanced Design/Concept programs.
THE WORK
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive reliability and maintainability analysis, including R&M predictions, fleet data analysis, FMECA, FTA, failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS)
Support the development of production or modification proposals, technical and cost volumes, and technical analyses for the HH-60W Program and other development and production programs
Provide regular Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reporting and schedule management support
Offer R&M engineering design and failure analysis support to assigned Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and suppliers
Lead or support functional and digital transformation projects, representing R&M in larger initiatives such as 1LMX or other transformation projects
Contribute to the integration of tools, methods, and databases across Specialty Engineering within our Reliability and Maintainability Systems (RMS) team

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college (preferably in an engineering focused discipline) OR equivalent experience/combined education.
-Experience with aviation (helicopter or fixed wing) or ground-based vehicle systems design, integration and test. Also acceptable is experience in System Engineering, Safety/Specialty Engineering, Test Engineering, Materials and Processing, Unit/Operating Cost/Affordability, Mass Properties and/or Attributes management.
Desired Skills:
- Engineering background with good electrical / mechanical understanding; practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting; aviation/helicopter design experience preferred, but not required.
-Experience with Reliability Analysis or data analytics a plus.
- Reliability, Maintainability, Safety and/or System Engineering analysis experience a plus; Sustainment or Logistics Engineering also acceptable: predictions, FMECA, FTA, O&S cost, RBD analyses
- Data analysis, analytics, reporting; experience with Tableau, MiniTab, Windchill Risk and Reliability, Reliasoft (or similar) desired, not required
- Experience with Sikorsky Aircraft design release process and tools; program management and proposal development processes and tools preferred.
- Aviation maintenance or operations experience (military or civil) a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
