Description: What We're Doing
In support of the Sikorsky Facilities Design, Construction and Engineering organization, oversee the management of various office projects and rearrangement activity for all Connecticut sites.
Sikorsky's Facilities Design, Construction, and Engineering organization plays a vital role in shaping and managing the physical spaces that enable innovation and efficiency. We are overseeing the management of all office projects and rearrangement activities for our Connecticut sites, along with enterprise-wide real estate management. This also includes managing the footprint for Sikorsky LOB and RMS offsite locations. As part of our team, you’ll help shape the future of Sikorsky by managing the spaces where our people work and create.
The Work
Manage a database of all CAD drawings, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible for future reference.
Ensure the maintenance & upgrading of CAD System.
Review & approve designs and drawings before release to contractors.
Develop accurate and detailed 2D and 3D designs for factory or office layouts.
Revising, update, and correcting drawings as necessary
Review blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer documentation if service is requested by the application engineer or project manager.
Prepare and monitor capital and expense budgets to ensure compliance to established project budgets and spend profiles.
Prepare and monitor project schedules.
Set up and oversee bidding and procurement of all materials and contracted services in support of projects.
Strategically plan for future scenarios and footprint optimization through continued implementation of LM Buildings.
Actively support value acceleration initiatives that directly affect Facilities and footprint reduction.
Provide technical assistance to various Sikorsky entities in need of guidance related to project management and/or factory and office planning (travel may be required).

Basic Qualifications:
Certification in Design with 10+ years of experience in Construction planning and implementation.
Strong knowledge of project management, design and construction.
Experience in leading projects, along with proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Experience in computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCad, Revit 2022, 3D Programs (Recap, 3DX,etc.).
Desired Skills:
BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience
Good communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present to internal and external customers.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with high level management, employees and customers, and interface with various departments across the enterprise.
Strong adaptability skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
A team player who is willing to work in a creative, fast-paced atmosphere.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
