THE WORK
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Subcontract Administrator for a position in Stratford, CT supporting the Sikorsky Line of Business. As a Subcontract Administrator, you will be responsible for
• The full lifecycle of subcontracts, including preparing specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement activities.
• You will develop and evaluate bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and negotiate contract provisions with suppliers.
• From writing subcontract packages for review and awarding contracts to administering resulting subcontracts, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with program requirements and company policies.
• Your work will include the negotiation and coordination of contract changes, the development of procurement policies, and the potential to sign supplier agreements within your authority.

You are detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of procurement processes, subcontract management, and contract negotiations. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have experience analyzing proposals, developing evaluation criteria, and negotiating complex contract terms. Your expertise in managing multiple contracts, coupled with your ability to adapt to changing project needs, ensures that you can handle high-stakes negotiations and execute successful procurements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience or 1 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• Understanding of supply Chain principles
• Experience placing and managing purchase orders
• Project Management experience
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of the Rotary Business
Technical knowledge
• Working knowledge of the procurement process on a DOD contract
• Technical knowledge – Aerospace
• Working knowledge of Rotary Line of Business
• Strong project / administrative skills
• Negotiations experience
• Placing Pos and working major subcontracts
• P2P / P1S experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and deliverables

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
