We are seeking a skilled professional to perform a wide variety of duties involved in the dynamic balance of main rotor blades. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our rotor blades.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Rotor Blade Balance Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key responsibilities will include:

•Following prescribed methods and procedures to perform balance operations on main rotor blades

•Calibrating, troubleshooting, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment and other components required to operate the Whirl Tower

•Maintaining inventory of hardware needed to support test requirements

•Performing weight adjustments per test procedure

•Maintaining calibrated tools and using a variety of hand and air tools

•Checking work to assure quality standards are maintained

•Work with test engineering as required

•Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including segregating waste material and following good housekeeping practices

•Referring all unusual situations or recurring problems to working leader or supervisor

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
