Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our Marine Systems team as a Principal Risk and Integration Project Manager/SR Principal Risk and Integration Project Manager to direct and manage activities associated with the Launcher Program Office. This position will be located in Sunnyvale, CA or Cape Canaveral, FL.

Responsibilities include the following:
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Acts as primary contact for program/project risks, leading status review sessions with internal management and customer.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program/project managers, functional managers, and customers.
Establishes project milestones and monitors adherence to the processes and schedules, identifies project risks and manages risk mitigation or solutions.
Ensures that contract requirements are met by directing, requesting, motivating or in other ways effecting desired action by all participating functional organizations and vendors or suppliers which are necessary to meet project requirements.
This is a dual level req and can be filled as a Principal Risk and Integration Project Manager or a SR Principal Risk and Integration Project Manager.
This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Risk and Integration Project Manager or a SR Principal Risk and Integration Project Manager level.
- Bachelor's of Science degree with 5+ years of experience; Master's Degree with 3+ years of experience; PhD with 0 years of experience.
- Bachelor's of Science degree with 9+ years of experience; Master's Degree with 7+ years of experience; PhD with 4+ years of experience.
Prior experience in Program/Project Management and/or Risk Management.
Ability to work closely with multiple functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Field Operations, etc.).
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance.
Knowledge of TRIDENT II Launcher Subsystem and Support Equipment.
Design and operational knowledge of Navy Programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership, and problem solving abilities. Solid business acumen.
