What You Will Achieve

The Learning Solutions Creation Center is responsible for delivery of Pfizer's Learning Technology Ecosystem which aims to empower learners to succeed today and seize tomorrow's opportunities through an innovative and engaging learning experience which accelerates business outcomes for Pfizer. Three main focus areas for achieving this vision are the Learner Experience, Content Owner Experience and Learning Insights.

The Product Manager, Learner Experience is responsible for the vision, strategy, and overall success of the Pfizer Learning Academy Product in delivering an exemplary Learner Experience. The Pfizer Learning Academy (PLA) is a one-stop shop for essential and growth focused learning. The PLA includes a Learning Management System (LMS), My Essential Learning (MEL), and a Learning Experience Platform (LXP), Learning for My Growth (LFMG) to meet colleagues learning needs.

The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation and guiding the strategic direction of the Learner Experience product while realizing the vision of improving the learner experience for our commercial and enterprise-wide learners. This individual is tasked with discerning the most impactful challenges to address, balancing a forward-thinking vision with immediate opportunities, customer needs, and sound business judgment, while also managing everyday product concerns. Their focus is unwaveringly on enhancing the learner's journey, striving to create an engaging learner experience that bolster Pfizer's business objectives. They are instrumental in shaping the vision and trajectory for the solution's entire lifecycle. By defining the value (the rationale behind our efforts), the scope (the specifics of what will be accomplished), and the roadmap (the timing of our actions), they ensure that the team delivers a significant solution, in close collaboration with other agile teams and product owners.

This role is responsible forbuilding strong relationshipswith relevant stakeholders toensure that the productroadmap delivers set visionand metrics and are alignedwith theoverallEnterprisestrategy. This role will manage a team of Product Owners responsible for distinct components of the PLA.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Evolve the enterprise learning experience from compliance-based to purpose-driven learningthat creates room for meaningful work and makes Pfizer an amazing workplace for all.

  • Establish product vision and objectives.

  • Determine user needs and translate them into detailed requirements, write and clarifyuser stories, visualizations, and process flows.

  • Maintain and prioritize the product roadmapand provide thought leadership in the learning solutions space.

  • Influences senior management and is seen as a subject matter expert.

  • Champion innovations and implement advanced new concepts that improve the work processes/products

  • Lead and organize monthly business stakeholder prioritization meetings, delivery alignment meetings, and quarterly business reviews of product performance.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with CX design/external agency for user journeys, wireframes, and user experience strategy.

  • Organize, prepare, and present easy to understand stories with valid proof points thatshowhow the team's backlog prioritiestie back to business objectives.

  • Lead team to deliver ongoing initiatives and releases for efficiency,and improved user/product experiences leveraging user centric design principles and data.

  • Track metrics (e.g., Objectives & Key Results) and build reports to measure progress.

  • Manage dependencies with other teams, working closely with all dependent delivery teams (web/app/dashboard).

  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility,andensure PDLC documentation, system configuration and compliance activities are up to date as required.

  • Manageand mentor team of Product Owners and work with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver against OKRs.

  • Works with cross functional teams to solve complex problems that impact multiple divisions or business areas

  • Organize product demos and prioritize backlog with agile team.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10+ years of experience in the Information Technology space

  • Proven experience working and building relationships with senior business Executives and leadership teams developing and delivering strategy and operating plans with demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, leadership and relationship management

  • Ability to understand large scale system implementations in different technology focus areas

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences

  • Adaptable and demonstrates flexibility in the face of shifting targets, thrives in new situations

  • Strategic thinker, understands the overall context, business implications and is able to think through a problem both conceptually and logically for better solutions

  • Strong people management experience

  • A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and can independently drive progress with properplanning andmanagement.

  • Deep experience with product management

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry a strongplus.

  • Passion for creating user-centric digital and interactiveexperiences.

  • Direct experience working in Agile/Lean Development methodology.

  • Up to date and knowledgeable about the latest trends, innovations and best practices in the Learning Technology space.

  • Experience successfully creating and executing against product visions, strategies, and roadmaps that achieve goals andoutcomes.

  • Exceptional at working with and analyzing user metrics and turning them into actionable insights, including the use of A/B testing and analyticsplatforms.

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree

  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Strong multi-discipline experience, with a preference for experience in technology strategy and management, management consulting and engineering

  • Experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated success developing, implementing, and maintaining strategic initiatives at increasing levels of responsibility, including people management and membership in a leadership team.

  • Proven experience with developing and implementing enterprise-wide learning and development technical solutions (SAP Success Factors, Degreed, etc.) from design to frameworks and tools to systems and processes.

  • Knowledge of the diverse needs of learners across the pharmaceutical business from commercial learners, manufacturing learners to research and development learners.

  • Experience leading teams and establishing a talent base with the skills required to complete current tasks and be prepared for changing business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce positive outcomes working in matrixed teams that span multiple functions.

  • Certification in Agile and Scrum development practices is a plus.

  • Experience in managing geographically distributed teams preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization oncomplex technical decisions.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasional additional hours in the evening or weekends as necessitated by workload, project timelines, or meetings with global vendors and peers.

  • Domestic and International travel up to 20%.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $145,400.00 to $242,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
