You will be an Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H) Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Special Operations Forces Global Logistics and Support Services (SOF GLSS) in Tampa, FL. What You Will Be Doing

As an ES&H Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ES&H programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. You will work closely with our team to identify and mitigate potential ES&H risks, and provide technical expertise to support business operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

•Develop, implement, and maintain ES&H programs, policies, and procedures

•Conduct ES&H risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation

•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards

•Provide technical expertise to support business operations

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote ES&H awareness and best practices

•Develop and deliver ES&H training programs for employees

•Investigate and report on ES&H incidents and near-misses

•Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in ES&H

This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. Further Information About This Opportunity:

This position is in Tampa, Florida

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience implementing, OSHA, safety and health standards, EPA, state and local environmental regulations and programs;

• Ability to develop new and innovative methods to increase employee awareness of, and engagement in, ESH compliance programs/initiatives promoting a strong ESH culture while taking the initiative to challenge the status quo.

• Ability to analyze complex technical data from chemical data sheets and environmental health surveys using logic and quantitative reasoning.

• Strong computer skills, written, and oral communication skills, ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

• Minimum requirements include, but not limited to, Lifting and Carrying up to 40 lbs and Pushing/Pulling of up to 75 lbs. and working from elevated platforms such as ladders as they relate to investigations to apply root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Must be eligible to obtain/maintain TS clearance.

• U.S Citizenship required.

Desired Skills:

• Professional experience in SOF Community and knowledge of SOF weapons, munitions, vehicle, and equipment safety.

• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, and Environmental requirements, regulations and associated compliance programs

• ESH experience in subject areas such as industrial safety, material handling, NFPA Life Safety Code, lock-out-tag-out, and hazard recognition and other industrial safety programs

• Skill in working independently and following through on assignments.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and be flexible.

• Ability to work effectively within a population and collaborate with peers and leadership

• Strengths in customer service and cooperative teaming, and a demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects/tasks effectively prioritizing tasks and work load, and ensuring timely closure of assignments.

• Certified Safety Professional certification (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) other ESH nationally recognized certifications is a plus, yet, not specifically required

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
