Pfizer Finance Associate in Tampa, Florida

The Finance Associate is a point of contact accountable for financial oversight and treatment of assigned Chief Information Security Office (CISO) Service Tower budget transactions. The Associate has operational activities to ensure CISO key financial commitments are achieved. Including but not limited to operating expense management, forecasting and month end close activities. The position will perform this function with oversight from the CISO Director of Finance Operations.
This role will require strong analytical ability, coupled with knowledge of business / finance analysis tools and methodologies. You will be expected to respond to requests in an efficient and timely manner.
Under direct oversight, this role will:
Complete month end close function in partnership with team members
Generate month end reports and perform analysis to understand and communicate the financial and performance metrics of the assigned portfolios
Maintain up-to-date portfolio information (active projects, costs, general timelines, etc) so that the information is available upon request
Research and resolve purchase order, invoice, and other financial issues as they arise
Support the annual budgeting cycle and own the process to ensure agreed data is entered into the relevant tools
Participate in master data management activities related to cost centers, WBS elements, etc.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system functionality, improve reporting, forecast accuracy and visibility into costs.
Complete ad-hoc analysis and projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or another related field
Exposure to financial domain
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Facilitation, negotiating and presentation skills
Ability to work in ambiguous situations
Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving
Mature and cool under pressure
Organized and able to work on a variety of projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 years' experience working in a financially oriented role
Experience with Excel macros and/or VBA scripting

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $59,900.00 to $99,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
