What Application Development & Maintenance brings to Cardinal Health:
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- 8-12 years experience in related field preferred
- Experience in Guardian System
- Salesforce.com Developer Certification
- Experience in Healthcare industry
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Scripting in Salesforce
- Strong knowledge of Pharmacy Operations
Responsibilities
- Manages the Service Now queue of production support tickets for the Salesforce and Marketing cloud platform
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and provides resolution or escalation, tracks and responds to inquiries, problems and requests for information
- Leads daily production support calls
- Builds applications on the Salesforce platform specifically Service Cloud, and Salesforce Communities with a good understanding of the Salesforce Security model; Salesforce Configuration, and Customizations
- Expertise in building on salesforce platform using Apex class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, Lightning Design System; Events, Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules,Email Alerts, Data loader etc.
- Experience building integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth, and Single Sign-On
- Hands-on experience with migrating changes from development to test to production environment(s) using CI technologies like Salesforce DX, GIT
- Well-versed with various Salesforce metadata APIs, deployment methodologies, code coverage & release process
- Familiarity with core salesforce technologies: Apex, HTTP, JSON, REST, XML
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product features in order to provide accurate and timely solutions to business partners
- Hands-on experience with migrating changes from development to test to production environment(s) using CI technologies like Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA
- Well-versed with various Salesforce metadata APIs, deployment methodologies, code coverage & release process
- Capture and relay new functionality requests to the Engineering Team.
- Support ongoing Salesforce administration (create accounts/profiles, workflow, approvals, reports, dashboards etc.)
- Perform system/data security related to profiles, groups, sharing rules and permission sets
