Position Title: Senior Accountant

Job Location: Thiruvallur, India

Description

Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Resource Industries Bodies & Buckets product value stream organization. In this position, you be responsible for partnering with the Product Value Stream manager and his direct reports to provide financial insight that drives profitable growth. Areas of focus for this role include sourcing studies, NPI investment analysis, and financial forecasting & reporting.

Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.

• Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.

• Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results.

Degree Requirement

Graduate Degree in Finance and Accounting or equivalent experience desired
