Compensation: $21.90/hr

Principal Accountabilities

  • Enforce facility Good Manufacturing/Hygiene Practices

  • Ensure clear communication regarding product safety and quality between departments

  • Evaluate raw materials and product for compliance to regulations and customer expectations

  • Perform direct observations of production food safety and quality tasks (pre-requisite programs)

  • Initiate corrective actions for non-conforming product and assist with investigations

  • Verify HACCP and SSOP monitoring

  • Collect product and environmental samples in an aseptic manner

  • Complete facility audits

  • Calibrate monitoring equipment

  • All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the united states without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must have a high school diploma/GED or 1 years’ experience in a quality control, production, and/or military role

  • Must have good math skills

  • Must be able to read and write English fluently

  • Strong computer skills/knowledge

  • Knowledge of production processes helpful

  • Must be a self-starter and have good communication skills

  • Accuracy, precision, and dependability are a necessity

  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed

  • Excellent attendance and safety records required

  • Must be willing to cross-train to work in other areas of FSQR coverage

  • Must be able to work in cold/damp and hot/humid environments

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must work well alone or as a team player

  • Prolonged periods of walking and standing required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor degree

  • Previous experience in food/meat plant environment

  • HACCP training

  • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
