As a Project Engineer responsible for Program Office Coordination, you will:
Ensure end-to-end of Operational related activities, including support Program Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, Planning Meetings, Technical Director Reviews, Working Groups.
Under supervision, coordinate activities at the program level, to include leading Product Teams.
Ensure program readiness heading into major milestones, facilitate communication/collaboration across related projects and SSP customers to reduce programmatic risk and ensure operational readiness.
Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, , and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
Help develop timely resolution plans of issues, compliance evidence, and all associated documentation.
Help resolve systems engineering and program execution issues quickly to support leadership and customer needs.
Ensure proper coordination/balance of cost, schedule, and technical impacts across activities in a manner that supports schedules.
General duties will include project management functions such as program planning, contract interpretation, and system , as well as cost and risk management.
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Titusville, FL. , and be expected to work in the office as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
Familiarity with operation activities within aerospace or a related DoD/Government industry,
Demonstrated ability to work with technical, operational leads and multiple customers to manage cost, schedule, and technical scopes,
You will need to be a US Citizen, andbe able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Please note:No clearance is required to apply but an Interim clearance is needed prior to start.

Project management,
Familiarity with FBM Operations activities,
Experience solutions for geographically disperse teams,
Experience helping cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues,
Familiarity with Navy Strategic System Partners (SSP) Customer,
Experience with a combination of design, , operations and engineering disciplines,
Experience on a missile program,
DoD Secret clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
