Janssen is recruiting MBA talent passionate about exploring a career in healthcare with a focus on Marketing and Sales Leadership roles for their Leadership Development Summer Internship program. The internship is a 12-week period during the Summer of 2023 and located in the greater Princeton, NJ or Philadelphia, PA area (depending on team assignment).

Your mission-critical project will support Janssen’s business priorities. Internships are available in the following functions: Product Brand Marketing focused on professional, consumer or payer campaigns, Market Access, Patient Experience Marketing and Global Commercial Strategy. As part of the Intern program, you will be given priority consideration for the full-time program.

Janssen’s Full-Time JPLDP program consists of diverse rotations in marketing, field sales and key commercial functions to prepare you as a future business leader in Janssen. All rotations are North America based and supplemented by classroom and e-learning training over the course of the program. Training covers all areas critical to success at J&J and delivered by program leadership, key commercial pharmaceutical leaders, J&J Executives, and external consultants.


To be considered for this robust experience, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • You are legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. and not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)

  • Current graduate student pursing an MBA or other business-related Master's degree with an intended graduation in 2024

  • Concentration in Healthcare Management or Marketing is preferred but not required

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience (5 preferred) prior to Business school is required

  • Experience in healthcare, marketing, sales, business analytics and/or management consulting in health care related field is preferred

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills is required

  • Ability to think strategically, influence and execute a plan effectively is required

  • Ability to make Credo-based decisions and support a Credo-based culture

  • Project management skills and ability to navigate a large organization to accomplish goals

  • Collaboration with key internal and external partners in support of project results

  • Act with speed, learning agility and intellectual curiosity

  • Development of significant partnerships to add value and insights for the organization

  • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills
