Purpose:
The Manager will be responsible for Fee for Service Fair Market Value (FMV) assessments for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. This individual will provide leadership for FMV analytics, develop new tools and approaches for evolving business models, ensure and make recommendations to support the evaluation for different projects and customers. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance in all FMV evaluations and documentation while compiling a repository of meaningful FMV benchmark sources to improve and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FMV process.
This individual will be a key player in the Fee For Service (FFS) governance process working closely with cross functional project owners: the FFS team, HCC, Legal and Offer Development to ensure compliance with Government regulations and internal processes and guidance. They will lead all FMV analysis and recommendations for FFS initiatives and programs for all franchises and functional departments. This includes, but is not limited to, SPP Services including Sponsored Communications, Access Services, Data Licenses & Agreements, JSA Real World Evidence (RWE) Studies Strategic Alliances, Rate Cards, Market Research, Distribution Services, and other Marketing initiatives, such as C&P and SOC programs. This person will assist in the completion of FFS FMV documentation that is consistent and compliant with the Government Contract Compliance FMV Guidance Document and provide leadership to increase the awareness of requirements and institutionalize the FFS FMV practice. This person will also oversee the FMV work performed by outside resources to ensure compliance with internal guidance.
Responsibilities :
Lead Fair Market Value Analysis for various FFS arrangements across various business functions and franchises within Janssen Pharmaceuticals.
Provide leadership and expertise to the development of FFS arrangements ensuring compliance to government regulations and internal controls through review of SOWs, contract agreements, fees, and varying program structures.
Partner with various stakeholders such as project owners, FFS team, HCC, Legal, and Offer Development to bring forward innovative and critical business programs
Responsible for maintaining and organizing all FMV documentation to allow for audits preparedness and repository of FMV benchmarks
Present Fair Market Value analysis to leadership in various forums such as project reviews and CPC (Contract Pricing Committee).
Collaborate with other stakeholders in the Fee for Service process to drive improvements and efficiencies in bringing programs to market.
Assist with ad hoc requests for FMV support for Medical Device, Consumer and Corporate wide initiatives
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar discipline is required; an advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.
A minimum of 7 years Finance/Accounting/Data Analytics experience, including at minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required.
General understanding of government healthcare regulations and government contract compliance requirements is required.
Strong business acumen with an exceptional understanding of Sales & Marketing needs, pharmaceutical distribution channels, specialty pharmacy providers, payors and reimbursement, patient access assistance programs, HECOR and RWE studies, government pricing, adherence programs and Brightlines is preferred.
Experience in fee for service assessment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
Strong problem solving, analytical and business partnering skills.
Must have demonstrated ability to lead across functions, and franchises at all levels of the organization.
A track record of leading complex and transformational projects.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$100,000-172,500
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
