Innovative Medicine Research & Development is recruiting for a Finance Manager IMR&D FP&A . Within the IM R&D Finance organization, the Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Operations team is the Global Center of Excellence for financial expertise. Reporting to the Global FP&A Senior Manager, this role will be responsible for global P&L consolidations, Path to Monthly Close, and US MRC reporting. The position will be based in either Titusville, NJ, or Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% travel to other US IM R&D locations.

This position will have broad exposure to the IM R&D Finance Leadership Team and the entire global finance organization in R&D. A Lead Analyst, Senior Analyst, and FLDP will be directly reporting to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete ownership and accountability of the global P&L Actual and Forecasting process for all major and minor updates associated with consolidating investment. This includes all aspects of consolidations, planning the meetings, preparing/presenting content, and leading presentations with the CFO and the Finance Leadership Team.

  • Partner with Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Pharm Group Finance, and the IM R&D Regional finance teams to get in-depth knowledge of the budget components, ensuring accurate reporting by correct peg line, and understanding business drivers for variances.

  • Provide coordination and leadership for global business activities (such as IP Billing, Systems Spend, etc.) with finance business colleagues in various global locations and understand financial impact to reporting and financials.

  • Lead consolidation of BS 75.

  • Lead all Actuals and Forecasting activities for US MRC/LEs; serve as a trusted partner and liaison to Global Services Manilla.

  • Lead Path to Monthly Close efforts for IM R&D Finance.

  • Partner with Tax teams and support tax optimization projects. Lead the FP&A team for any activities related to US LE Integrations/Closures/Changes.

  • Support and lead SigniFi related efforts as needed.

  • Other strategic ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably Finance, Accounting, or Economics. A Master’s degree or MBA would be preferred.

  • A minimum 5 years experience in Finance, Accounting, or related business is required.

  • Prior experience with a cross-functional, global team is required.

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills to include PowerPoint, Word, Excel, are required.

  • The position will be based in either Titusville, NJ or Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% travel to other US IM R&D locations.

The base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $166,750

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
