Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D Data Science & Digital Health is searching for the best talent for Platform Operations Summer Intern to be in Titusville, NJ passionate about translating emerging technology into platform operations solutions.
Internship typical term is 10-12 weeks May to August, 2025
Full time requirement (40 hours per week)
You will be responsible for:
Apply cutting-edge technology to solve practical problems within a world-class Platform Operations team.
Collaborate with Operations experts to translate business requirements into productive solutions.
Gain a deep understanding of User Engagement and the role it plays in realizing product potential.
Become courageous, identifying opportunities to enhance workstreams through AI applications.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of an intern assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master of Science and/or MBA.
Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at accredited University is required.
Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required.
Strong programming skills.
Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, Large Language Model (LLM) applications, and generative AI technologies.
Working knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and generative AI models.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve within team settings.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and ready to challenge the status quo.
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
Preferred:
Actively pursuing master’s or equivalent advanced degree preferred (Data science, Computer sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, AI/ML engineering, Cloud engineering, or Software engineering).
Experience with information transmission and retrieval systems, including APIs, web-scraping
Willingness to explore, co-develop, iterate, and deploy chatbot
The anticipated base pay for this position is between $22.00 /hr and $51.50 /hr , but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Housing stipend will be offered for those that qualify. This position is ineligible for severance.
