Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

The Global Business Adoption Director is responsible for leading a critical team within the Transcend transformation; encompassing the orchestration of a team of seasoned leaders dedicated to driving adoption across diverse sites and functions worldwide. They will forge robust collaborations spanning supply chain, R&D, and commercial functions, understanding their unique needs and fostering alignment with deployment objectives. They will cultivate a deep understanding of site-specific requirements to tailor adoption strategies, collaborating closely with change, training, and communication counterparts to ensure localized effectiveness.

As an enabler of Global cohesion and local flexibility, the Director will develop a cohesive global adoption framework while empowering local teams to customize strategies based on local nuances and business demands throughout deployment phases, ensuring continuity and responsiveness to evolving needs. This leader will build and drive barrier identification and mitigation strategies and plans in close collaboration with partners to proactively identify and address barriers to adoption, bringing to bear local impact assessments and readiness plans. They will take ownership of final disposition of artifacts related to training, communications, change impacts, and deployment readiness plans, ensuring alignment with global standards and local requirements.

This role demands strategic vision, adept leadership, and a relentless focus on driving adoption excellence across the organization. By encouraging collaboration, innovation, and agility, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the success of our transformative initiatives on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Transcend Business Adoption Framework Design & Implementation:

  • Lead the global business adoption framework development and execution strategy for the Transcend program, emphasizing localengagement and adoption of Transcend's deployment.

  • Lead a distributed team of resources through the development of Business Adoption artifacts, deployment plans and measurements; using and refining pre-existing work product.

  • Incorporate a strategic lens of experience design and process engineering to ensure business adoption frameworks can be implemented with end users in mind.

  • Monitor adoption metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and report on the overall success of the adoption initiatives to senior management.

Leadership, Coaching and Influence:

  • Drive awareness and understanding of Transcend solutions among business users, highlighting the benefits and value proposition to encourage adoption.

  • Establish mechanisms for gathering feedback from end-users and business units, incorporating insights to continuously improve adoption strategies and tactics.

  • Work with Program Governance team to provide program level adoption updates and coordinate status tracking.

  • Champion strategic partnerships with business, functional, and process leaders to drive successful outcomes geared toward site specific needs at last leg of deployment.

  • Stay ahead of global/local best practices across the adoption team to best support E2E program partner needs.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of High School or equivalent diploma/degree is required; Bachelor’s / University or equivalent degree is strongly preferred, with a focused degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technology, Engineering, or Organizational Psychology is preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience

  • Proven track record as a leader executing on global, complex transformational projects/programs, with demonstrated hands-on experience leading change management and/or business adoption methods, artifacts, and measurement

  • Experienced leader having held roles in end-to-end supply chain and/or commercial interactions and interdependencies, including end-customer touchpoints

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence partners at all levels, forging consent and driving outcomes

  • Ability to present succinct messages to leadership but also has strong active listening and awareness skills to understand details from all partners

  • People management and development experience (e.g., direct or indirect reports, internal/external partners) to provide exceptional leadership and to inspire, develop, and lead high-performing teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, savvy at identifying risks and devising effective mitigation strategies across complex problems

  • Highly adaptable and resilient, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment and proven experience with large-scale SAP ERP replacement project(s)

  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, technologies, and best practices

  • Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry experience

Other:

  • Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally; proficiency in German, Dutch, Spanish, or Italian is helpful

  • Requires up to 50% domestic and/or international travel, depending on work location and business needs

  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 USD to $244,950 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal, and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
