Scrum Master

What does a successful SCRUM Master do?

You will join the team at our Fishers, IN location and you will function as the Project Manager to manage software development projects for our student loan servicing platform. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery of technology with minimal deployment or back-end errors in an Agile environment. You will be assigned to a SCRUM team and be the point of contact for communication to the stakeholders. You will help the team to implement changes efficiently to ensure the deliverables meet compliance standards.

What you will do:

• Responsible for coordinating with the integration team as well as taking on a very visible client facing role

• Create project schedules for complex integration initiatives and ensure agreement by both internal and external stakeholders

• Plan software projects and define the scope to allocate resources along with setting deadlines

• Understand each project’s integration requirements to ensure alignment with the integration team and clients

• Coordinate sprints, daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings

What you will need to have:

• Per contractual obligations, must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a qualified United States Government security clearance (e.g., US DOD Secret)

• High School diploma, equivalent work, education or military experience required

• 3+ years of experience in an Agile environment as a SCRUM master

What will be great to have:

• Experience working with projects requiring compliance with state and federal regulations

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
