Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.
As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

The Director,Brand Education is responsible for setting the corporate standard for product messaging and for connecting brand to company culture. You will help us grow awareness and drive strong brand equity for Oracle by helping to build and scale a brand that is both globally consistent and locally relevant. This isanincredible opportunity to come into a newly forming brand organization and be a leading contributor to the next phase of growth at Oracle.
In this role, you will develop standard-setting messaging and content and train product marketing teams worldwide to adopt best practices in their content creation that will advance the clarity, readability, and conversion power of materials presented. For signature brand touchpoints such as our non-product web pages (Homepage, About Us, Our People, Corporate Responsibility), you will partner closely with our Brand Content lead on the content strategy for these pages, working directly with cross functional teams including pillar product marketing, sustainability and D&I to appropriately reflect our brand.
As all great brands must start with their employees, you will help us build our brand internally, so that employees embrace what it stands for. You will create new experiences that provide better, faster, and easier access to our brand for employees and partners. And you will build a best-in-class foundation of tools, training, and processes to elevate and reinforce a feeling of brand pride.
You have a proven track record working with complex technology, combined with a passion for storytelling and experience in communications or product marketing. You must have meticulous attention to detail, a collaborative working style, and relish the numerous and nitty-gritty revision cycles of executive-level copy craft.
Specific responsibilities include:
Develop and execute training programs to raise the baronmessaging andwriting across Oracle product marketing, communications, and product management teams.
Deliver measurable increase in adoption of core brand messaging and materials by soliciting feedback, actively listening to employees, responding to concerns, and optimizing the experience.
Drive accountability of cross-functional teams to create on-brand experiences and optimize company investments.
Partner with Brand Content and Creative leads on the content strategy for non-product pages for the Oracle website (e.g., Homepage, About Us, Our People, Corporate Responsibility).
Drive internal communicationaboutOracle’s product messaging training progress and content strategy. Celebrate wins.
Lead corporate narrative enablement and training for product marketing, communications, and product management teams in partnership with Oracle University.

Create and deliver formal product messaging training to 70% of product marketers and 50% of product management.
Product marketing, communications, and product management teams demonstrate understanding of the new Oracle corporate narrative and are empowered to deliver its key messages to customers.

Measurable uptick in adoption of key brand messaging.
Documented learning and optimization plan for both training and content.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Tech Marketing Experience
12 years’ experience in product marketing and marketing communications.
Technical aptitude and ability to discern complex product information into value-based messaging.
Familiarity with building brand around cloud products (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) as well as licensed products is a plus.
A brand team advocate with the ability to build trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders and working teams.
Ability to work at and navigate all levels of an organization, driving decisions and direction through influence, including executive and senior business stakeholders.
A hands-on leader who can be a formidable individual contributor and can also
help foster a high performing, healthy team.
