Hilton Regional Manager, Revenue Management Operations in Trenton, New Jersey

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Regional Manager, Revenue Managment Operations you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Revenue Management Operations (RMO) team reporting to Senior Manager RMO, you will work on projects relating to the Global Revenue Optimization (GRO) system, enterprise initiative deployment, and commercial strategy execution.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Provide revenue management tactical and strategic support to hotels and above property revenue managers
- Participate in the analysis of hotels/brands/categories performance and identify opportunities for performance improvement and the action steps required to achieve improved market share
- Prepare training materials designed to educate hotel/management company teams
- Identify process weaknesses and develop solutions for efficiency
- Participate in major discipline initiative/program/application deployments
- This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports
How you will collaborate with others:
- Engage and support hotels and management company partners
- Partner with GRO Support, Platform Activation, RM Solutions, Inventory Innovations, and the Pricing team on initiatives and project implementation
- Provide analysis support to the commercial performance team
What projects will you take ownership of:
- You will leverage your revenue management expertise to serve as a subject matter expert for revenue management governance and related forms, documents, and processes
- You will apply your creative and futuristic approach to analyze current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance our operational efficiency and effectiveness
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of professional experience
- Five (5) years of revenue management experience
- Four (4) years of experience using automated RM systems and tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent business communication skills both verbal and written
- Provide simple explanations for complex issues
- Analyze large data and articulate those findings through storytelling
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple requests
- Team player mentality: humility, drive and collaboration
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or MS/MA/Master's Degree
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Four (4) years of on-property experience
- Three (3) years of experience working with OnQ Rate & Inventory and Global Revenue Optimization (GRO) systems
- Cross-brand or product line experience
- MicroStrategy proficiency
- Experience with travel industry reservation and hotel property management systems
- Strong experience in hospitality and inventory control
- Spanish language skills
