Description: Lockheed Martin Pike County Operations in Troy, Alabama is seeking an Industrial Engineer responsible for:
Conducting classical Industrial Engineering activities such as time and motion studies, process flow analysis, facility and workstation design, and process improvement activities
Performing work measurements and time standards, productivity and performance management, capacity resource analysis, simulation modeling, cost analysis and estimating.
Supporting one or more Performance Management Team (PMT) through metric analysis and process improvement identification/implementation
Driving continuous improvement and capturing cost savings.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small-town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree at the Bachelor level or above in Industrial
Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering
Management, or a similar discipline
Understanding of Industrial Engineering tools/techniques (such as process improvements, time & motion studies, project management, facility design/layout, capacity analysis and simulation)
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and
maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with
obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to
starting.
**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”)
background check to obtain approval to be an
“employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may
result in revocation of an offer and loss of
employment
Desired Skills:
Two or more years of professional experience
Experience applying Industrial Engineering technical skills such as facility layouts, data analysis, and
process improvements
Proficiency in engineering software tools commonly used such as AutoCAD or Solid Works and Simulation Software (such as FlexSim, AnyLogic, SIMIO, Arena, Process Sim or others).
Strong written and verbal communication and
problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based
environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel,
Word, and PowerPoint.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
