Description: You will be the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor for the Production, Planning and Control organization at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control's (MFC) Pike County Operations site in Troy, AL. Our team is responsible for managing the production planning and control processes, ensuring efficient and effective production operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the internal Make Planning and Material Handling teams, overseeing manufacturing planning, production support, and material handling and distribution to the production floor. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement and managing a team of approximately 10-15 direct reports.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manufacturing planning and scheduling, production support, and material handling and distribution
- Managing multiple manufacturing planning, material management, and support activities
- Overseeing production integrity and driving inventory optimization
- Coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training, as well as performance assessment and management
- Working outside of normal operating hours as required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Typical minimum is an appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.
Material resource planning, supply chain management and shop floor control.
Working knowledge of/and experience with inventory control and warehouse management
Experience with SAP or MRP equivalent, specifically in the areas of Materials Management and Production Planning.
Experience with material flow principles
Demonstrated ability and experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms (face-to-face, virtually, email, TEAMS, etc.)
Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer , office applications and warehouse management
Previous leadership experience
Experience/understanding of managing budgets and tracking performance metrics
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make effective decisions
Experience with presenting data to multifunctional audiences to include leadership, peers, and customers
Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment
Working outside of normal operating hours as required
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of Apriso Warehouse Management
Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing operations experience
Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Production Planning and Control experience
Experience and understanding of establishing performance metrics commensurate with role
Green Belt certified
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
