Hyatt Food and Beverage Manager- Market in VAIL, Colorado
Description:
This person oversees the different functions of the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. The ideal candidate for this role will be tasked with elevating food and beverage offerings in all outlets while enhancing service experience. Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills is paramount. The salary range for this position starts at $66,100 /year. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hotel’s restaurants, bars & Events.
Manage approved budget, concepts, marketing plans and objectives.
Implement and maintain Food & Beverage sales/marketing programs
Work closely with leadership to ensure guests satisfaction
Resolve guests concerns & complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel colleagues
Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for beverage operations
Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards
Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
This role is highly visible in the operation. Recognizing and maintaining relationships with regular guests as well as cultivating relationships with new patrons through effective marketing and personal interaction is paramount.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of progressive hotel leadership experience within Food and Beverage
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with guests
Proven leadership skills
Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven record of accomplishment in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to achieve financial, engagement and service goals.
Experience with purchasing and inventories, comprehensive administrative skills, knowledge of inventory and control
