We are looking for our next Cook I to join the team at Hilton Vancouver Washington! This amazing propertyislocatedin the heart of downtown Vancouver with easy access to Portland International Airport. Featuring 226 rooms, the hotel is within walking distance to the gorgeous waterfront as well as to local bustling attractions such as the Vancouver Farmers Market (directly across the street from the hotel!), making us an excellent base for both leisure and business travel.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.26.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3as a cook in a high volume setting, the ability to work any station and have a solid foundation in culinary arts.Previoushotel and fine dining experience is a plus!

What will I be doing?

As a CookI, you wouldbe responsible forpreparing food itemsin accordance withrecipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you wouldbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:

Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards

Maintain cleanliness andcomply withfood sanitation standards at all times

Manage guest orders in a friendly,timelyand efficient manner

Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products

Stock andmaintaindesignated food station(s)

Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen

Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
