Lockheed Martin Designer/Drafter Level-3 in Vineyard, Utah

Description: Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies is seeking a talented level-3 Designer/Drafter to join our engineering team. We are a pioneer, partner, innovator, and builder in the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) industry. Our amazing people are on a mission to make a difference in the world. In your role as a level-3 Designer/Drafter, you will be a member of a team engaged in the development of tactical sUAS and related accessories. Your primary responsibilities will include creating accurate models and clear drawings of components and assemblies under the direction of the engineering groups. You will be expected to regularly review colleagues' models and drawing packages for accuracy and conformance to standards. You will interface with various teams including concept development, various engineering disciplines, procurement, and production to ensure designs are fully and accurately documented. Additionally, you will help manage all technical documentation of designs in the product data management (PDM) software. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team working together to deliver the next generation of UAS products.

Basic Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Professional experience as a designer/drafter in an engineering field.

Desired Skills:

- High School diploma (Associate's degree in design, drafting or similar is preferred)

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience as a designer/drafter.

- Demonstrated experience 3D modeling using Creo, CATIA, and similar software packages.

- Understanding of standard product development lifecycles and demonstrated ability to maintain documentation in PDM software.

- Experience in electrical drafting (wiring/harness modeling and drawing, pinout tables, etc.)

- Proven ability to accurately create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs)

- Knowledge of and ability to follow ASME Y14.5M standards.

- Demonstrated ability to:

-Utilize and comprehend engineering drawings.

-Draft, modify and redline engineering drawings.

-Maintain accurate product documentation and support work instructions.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
