JOB SUMMARY

The ECLP Finance Admin role will be responsible for the raising of POs and Capex for the Loss Prevention function, ensuring invoicing is completed and matched and that POs are closed and where there is an issue working with the business partner or third party to resolve the issue.

You will be responsible for business partnering internally, especially with LP, Commercial Finance, Expense Payable and GS&P.

As an SME you will support the development of finance training materials in regard to raising of POs and Capex, use of Oracle and iProcurement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Loss Prevention finance topic, partnering with Finance, Expenses Payable, GS&P and other key business partners

  • Manage the administration of POs and Capex

  • Tracks spend against budget

  • Communicate PO under or overspends with budget owner and third party to close POs efficiently

  • Support LP stakeholders to raise, oversee and close PO & Capex requests correctly, by deadline and in line with 3rd party contractual requirements and TJX procurement policy

  • Educate team to be compliant with corporate audit principles for PO processes and support team to maximise potential

  • Create and share PO reports to resolve outstanding queries

  • Support the education of others to manage PO requirements

  • Seek opportunities to streamline and simplify processes

  • Be able to understand the budget requirements of LP

  • Provide ad hoc LP Finance support as required

  • Work to a consistent SLA for all finance support

    Key skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Is highly numerate and analytical

  • Has an understanding of finance and budget processes

  • A working knowledge of Oracle, PO management & iProcurement would be advantageous

  • Operational knowledge of a Loss Prevention function would be advantageous

  • European Home Office based role

  • Organised, efficient and able to act on own initiative

  • Is an effective business partner

  • Has a track record in delivering results

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Has a commitment to self-development

  • High level of integrity

  • Flexibility to travel when required

  • Intermediate PC Skills (Microsoft Office Applications)

  • A language skill in German, Polish or Dutch would be advantageous
