Job Title Cash Applier * Reports to * Supervisor Credit & Collections * Department * AR HBP * Job Location Guadalajara - Providencia * Summary The Cash Applier keeps financial records organized and performs cash processing tasks. They apply payments, looks for backups for dispute cases while also answering to customer inquiries when necessary. A reliable Cash Application Specialist should be able to have qualifications such as good math skills, accuracy, attention to details, communication skills and basic accounting knowledge. * Responsibilities:* Application of payments coming through Lock Box, Wire transfers, offsets, account conciliations, banks payment research, EFT and Checks. Research and validate the backup documentation of the disputed amount in customer payment through portal and generic nodes. Properly codification of the reason code for every dispute amount coming from the customer payment. Daily reconciliation of applications in the system vs. Banamex line, month-end reports of number and amount of applications made by clients, updating of monthly reports, information concentrates. * Minimum knowledge and skills* • Basic Accounting • Math Skills. • Attention to details. • Communication skills • Excel advance. • SAP desirable. • English capable of stablish business conversations. • Logical and analytical thinking. • Organized. • Personal Leadership. • Focus on results. • Work under pressure. • Numerical skills. • Data analysis. * Education* Bachelor’s degree in administration, Accounting, Finance or related areas. * Experience* • 2 year in Accounts receivable experience. • Desirable Cash Application. • Deduction management experience.
