In this role, you will

Under the guidance of the Services & Backfill Supervisor, the Paste Fill Service Crew is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of operational activities related to the installation, inspection, and maintenance of the underground paste fill infrastructure at Dead Bullock Soak (DBS).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting line checks of the underground paste fill reticulation system.

  • Installing and inspecting underground paste fill bulkhead walls.

  • Managing the installation, inspection, and maintenance of underground paste fill reticulation.

  • Executing isolation requirements.

  • Performing general service crew duties as needed.

About You:

  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of underground mining practices.

  • Exhibits exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Capable of effective communication within the Mining Department, across other departments, and with business partners.

  • Shows a superior level of safety awareness and work ethics.

  • Airleg drilling experience highly regarded

  • Possesses a nationally accredited competency for working at heights.

  • Holds a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

This position operates on an even time 2/2 roster with FIFO options from Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs, or Brisbane.
