The Director, Patient Innovation Center (Dir, PIC) position is a unique role at Parexel. In this role, she/he/they will lead innovations that improve the patient and caregiver clinical trial experiences and their outcomes. To accomplish this, the Director, PIC will head up delivery of projects for the Patient Innovation Center. She/he/they will work to secure new business, build and deploy new tools and services, ensure excellent performance against business ad project goals, build strong internal and external relationships, and drive marketing activities. This is the ideal role for a driven individual with a passion for improving the patient experience.
Provide end-to end ownership of PIC service/tool creation & deployment for parexel's rapidly growing offering
Set priorities & goals for direct reports in alignment with the overall PIC mission & vision
Continually change the tatus quo & encourage continuous improvements in the way the team functions
Maintain strong partnerships with key global stakeholders to understand & manage their expectations and business needs
Manage & evolve PIC service offerings in partnership with the VP, PIC & in support of Parexel's patients first strategy
Design, in partnership with marketing & other key functions, go-to-market strategies & materials for PIC services
Build the strategy & drive the execution of service launches & partnerships, including pricing, positioning, etc.
Responsible for generating business leads (client networking, public speaking, etc.)
Support the marketing team with content to increase coverage of PIC's services
Participate in capabilities meetings for sponsors
Partner with & train Solution Consultants & other stakeholders, including making vendor recommendations, scoping & verification of pricing, strategy slide decks and proposal support
Lead and/or participate in bid pursuit meetings
Product & Service Development
Support vendor partner identification & selection activities by continually scanning the landscapes for potential vendors, attending capabilities presentations & working with Procurement
Generate ideas for new PIC tools & services by maintaining a keen interest in competitive intelligence, new technological advances & engaging patients
Manage a global team of PIC members
Accountable for overall performance & delivery of direct reports to deliver on time & with first time quality

Passion for improving the patient & caregiver experience in clinical trials
Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Strong presentation skills at both a conference level and 1:1 with specific customers and prospects

Knowledge and Experience
Proven track record of building and leading teams focused on decentralized trials and/or pre-sales
Broad experience in defining and monitoring key performance metrics
10+ years of pharmaceutical and/or CRO experience including but not limited to areas of focus in clinical operations, sales and decentralized clinical trials/direct to patient studi
Educated to degree level (biological science, pharma or other health related discipline preferred) or relevant clinical or business equivalent.
MBA or equivalent preferred
