DRACOE is the process and data governance organization for applications that are exiting the production landscape. We provide a global governance and archiving service to the company and are responsible for electronic data across all divisions and geographies.

As the DRACOE Project Management Office Lead your primary responsibility with be the governance of the application end of life processes, ensuring that all implementations are compliant with corporate data governance practices and are executed in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, your will have oversight of the budget and resource planning for the department, will work with the Product Owner for the data vault technologies and will be responsible for driving efficiencies through automation and enabling self-service.

To be successful you will need to develop a deep understanding of the DRACOE processes and the capabilities of the data vault technologies, and to build effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders in our business functions and in technology groups.

The ideal candidate will be able to succeed in a dynamic, rapidly changing, highly matrixed business environment, and be able to mentor junior resources to develop within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Author and manage the product vision, mission, strategy, roadmap.

  • Author, prioritize and manage the backlog.

  • Use Jira to manage and communicate issues, risks and interdependencies.

  • Manage project escalations, issues, risks and dependencies.

  • Continuously discover and prioritize the best opportunities to deliver business value and meet the needs of stakeholders.

DRACOE Processes and Services/Data Vault

  • Develop a deep understanding of DRACOE's processes and services.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the various technologies supporting DRACOE's processes and services.

  • Develop/demonstrate deep understanding of the data governance principals underpinning DRACOE's operation.

  • Partner with the engineering organization to understand technology constraints and opportunities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 5 years of large data platform experience.

  • At least 10 years of application implementation experience.

  • At least 3 years of agile delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies.

  • At least 2 years of experience with Jira or Confluence.

  • Experience implementing or operating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.

  • Experience working with AWS/Cloud Service Provider components.

  • Ability to implement new processes and services.

  • Experience building and sustaining strong vendor relationships.

  • At least 4 years of Product Management/Product Owner experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.\Excellent organizational skills manage dependencies across multiple teams and product initiatives.

  • Deep understanding of Data Governance concepts and principals.

Preferred:

  • At least 10 years of system development lifecycle (SDLC) experience.

  • At least 5 years of design thinking, user research or usability testing experience.

  • At least 2 years of enterprise architecture and data analytics experience.

  • Background in the biopharmaceutical industry or a related field.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:

$169,700.00 - $267,200.00
