Job Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra We are seeking a General Manager to oversee our newly established India & Asia Pacific (APAC) cluster. The GM will report to Hershey's International President and this role is pivotal to achieving our growth ambitions in these markets. The ideal candidate needs to align with Hershey’s leader success profile, demonstrating: - An owner-operator mindset with a results-driven approach, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to make tough decisions that drive growth and profitability. - A strategic vision, capable of managing complexity and ambiguity, synthesizing large amounts of data, and seamlessly transitioning between big-picture thinking and detailed analysis. - Exceptional focus on customers and consumers, with the ability to win the trust and engagement of both internal and external stakeholders. * KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* * Top 5 Accountabilities Of The Role * * Growth-oriented End-To-End P&L Management* - Direct and manage the overall operations of the cluster to achieve business results, meeting or exceeding KPIs, including goals in sales/revenue, market share, profit, and operating income. * Customer and Distributor Management* - Lead by example as a Solutions Leader, identifying and implementing the best solutions, ensuring effective execution, establishing long-term plans, maintaining customer focus, communicating clearly, and being accountable. - Respond effectively to market trends, customer needs, competitor positions, and new product development requirements. - Set standards for execution excellence and customer partnership, balancing agility, growth, quality, on-time delivery, and appropriate processes and resources. * Brand Building and Commercial Strategy* - Oversee and evolve the Hershey brands to maximize their impact, relevance, and connection with customers and consumers. - Align business resources to achieve annual strategic, operational, and growth objectives. - Champion data and analytics to drive fact-based decisions and accountability across the organization. * Connecting Multiple Functions Within Hershey & Externally* - Execute all corporate policies and objectives while maintaining the highest level of ethics and industry standards. - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including governments and regulatory bodies. * Talent Builder* - Recruit, develop, and retain a strong leadership team; provide guidance and coaching to maximize their performance and accelerate their professional growth. - Establish and maintain an innovative and highly collaborative culture that promotes novel idea generation, open communication, respect for others, and excellence. - Create a diverse, collaborative, fun, and stimulating work environment. * Top 3 things For Year 1 deliverables:* - Deliver 2025 business plan. - Develop a comprehensive growth roadmap for the cluster, including both top line and bottom-line growth. - Establish a customer strategy that ensures our offerings are compelling and create value for our customers. - Ensure we have the necessary talent, capabilities, process, tools to deliver on the growth roadmap. * Qualifications:* -Proven track record of successful revenue growth as a leader in CPG companies. -$250M+ P&L leadership experience. -Experience leading large executive teams, great at coaching and feedback to team on regular basis, being a talent builder in the organization. Ability to build a strong management team. -A participative leadership approach that fosters collaboration and innovation. -Ability to recognize, create and communicate priorities, strategies, market opportunities and challenges to drive growth and performance improvement. -Attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to effectively lead and manage in a dynamic and challenging environment. -Solid experience managing budgeting processes and strategic planning. -Strong written, verbal English communication and presentation skills. #LI-SW1
