Job Purpose and Impact

The Product Owner – Supply Chain will be responsible for the ownership of new solutions within the intelligent supply chain portfolio within EMEA region. This role will focus on the proof of concept and pilot phase where you will help define the business strategy, establish a vision for chosen solution such as: new technology, data, talent or new processes.

You will coordinate work done by many other functions and are ultimately responsible for the business success during the initial phases. You will partner with cross functional teams regionally and globally, define objectives and develop plans to deliver desired outcomes within expected timelines.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to define business value of solutions and make that clear to the team that serves the impacted stakeholders.

  • Partner with the team to build value-based working solutions while obtaining feedback as quickly as possible to refine the product.

  • Develop a product strategy and solution based on identified business value and end user.

  • Maintain prioritization and refinement of the product backlog, deciding what to build and when, partnering with agile teams to estimate features, define requirements and collaborate on a product roadmap

  • Analyze and addresses the critical product risks including value, usability, feasibility and business viability.

  • Use quantitative and qualitative data for thorough analysis to identify when to proceed and when to stop.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of experience in supply chain (procurement, transportation, planning and operations) and/or exposure to product development.

  • Experience facilitating teams and breaking down business requirements into deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile certification

  • Product or project management certification

  • Demonstrated leadership to navigate between the business and technical domains of a software implementation project

  • Experience leading change and communication with a large and diverse group of stakeholders (business users and leaders, data science, cloud infrastructure, app development, data engineering)
