As part of Parexel's Enterprise Infrastructure management team, the Senior Director of Infrastructure Managementprovides strategic direction and operational management for all aspects of Parexel's data centers , windows, Linux/Solaris, storage and backups teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and Business Stakeholders to articulate long-term capability needs and shape future looking, technology roadmaps.

  • Define, articulate, and promote the IT Services built by the Infrastructure Management organization and made available to the business and IT at Parexel.

  • Provide innovation and technical leadership to the design, development, testing and implementation of solutions to crucial business problems through thoughtful use of modern technology.

  • Prepare and present potential technical solutions.

  • Promote a culture of engineering and architectural excellence, using opportunities to promote reuse of existing solutions where possible.

  • Communicate and drive highly complex technology solutions to broad audiences including executives, business leaders, product managers, legal experts, security specialists and software engineers

  • Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders across the company to identify long-term opportunities, set strategy, and educate the organization on new technologies.

  • Advise business and product owners on the technical and business value of proposals, including appropriate tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities.

  • Work with engineers, product owners and subject matter experts to understand complex technological and business environments and produce integrated end-to-end solution options

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in operationalizing large-scale infrastructure solutions.

  • At least 12 years’ experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center management, Windows / Unix, and backup / storage design and solutions

  • At least 8 years of enterprise infrastructure architecture experience

  • 8+ years of experience in an IT leadership position in large enterprises.

  • Superb written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage communications and influence direction amongst peers and senior management

  • A demonstrable history of influencing others through consensus building in a cross functional/matrix environment

  • A strong and consistent history of leading people and projects to a successful outcome
