Our Strategy team acts as a critical advisor to the Global Leadership Team by framing key choices, providing a well-reasoned point of view, and ensuring choices are made and effectively translated into action. We’re looking for curious strategic minds to drive our Leading Snacking Powerhouse mission to deliver on our Enterprise goals. A Senior Manager, M&A Strategy is both a strategic and analytical thinker to support and serve as a thought partner to leaders across the business, in pursuit of inorganic growth opportunities. Senior Managers have strategic thinking and depth of business acumen, as well as a highly developed set of analytical, influencing, and project management skills. The Senior Manager will gain exposure across the company and will join a driven, creative, and enthusiastic team focused on positioning Hershey for its next wave of growth. * Qualified candidates possess the following :* • Ability to analyze businesses spanning snacking categories and assess for strategic fit within Hershey. • Ability to combine outside-in thinking with commercial practicality to build & test business cases for inorganic growth opportunities. • Proven Quantitative / Analytical skills and passion for leveraging large sets of disparate data to answer critical questions for inorganic growth. • Fluency with Excel and PowerPoint. • Orientation towards strategic thinking. • Comfort facilitating and leading work to answer questions that span marketing, sales, operations, and finance. • Strong understanding of financial metrics, P&L fundamentals, and deal structures. Experience in commercial due diligence a plus. • Strong desire for personal and professional development. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • At least 5-8 years progressive professional experience at a leading CPG company or strategic consulting firm. • BS/BA degree required.
