Position: Senior Research Consultant
Job Location: United States : Rhode Island : Warwick
Develop and implement advanced analytics and predictive modeling solutions to improve business processes, generate insights, and support business goals and strategy development, using enterprise-caliber data science tools and predictive and statistical models. Perform datamining from various sources, identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged to improve product, validate data accuracy, and verify data quality to ensure consistent use across the business. Develop, deploy and maintain predictive models and monitor model performance to identify opportunities to improve business profitability and operational efficiency across Property & Casualty business. Collaborate with stakeholders in different functions to define data collection and analysis requirements and establish adequate business understanding to provide effective analysis. Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and cloud services to further strengthen business. Develop new modeling techniques and tools for analytics and reporting.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Master's degree in statistics, mathematics or business analytics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience performing descriptive data analysis, statistical analysis, and data processing. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) -- must possess the following: performing descriptive, statistical and predictive data analysis to address real business problems; implementing new programs and initiatives, using SQL, SAS, Python, and R; and processing large datasets from different sources for reporting.
