BAE Systems Senior Program Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager (PM) to provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution for a program to provide enterprise IT services for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The position manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a collection of projects; ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and performance objectives; and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety, and security.

This position is located on-site at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Building in Washington, D.C., and may be required to occasionally travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The enterprise IT services contract provides technical support capabilities, including program management, IT infrastructure and shared services, general IT, cybersecurity services, engineering design, telecommunications services, emergency response, transformation, and surge/special projects capability and support. The program executes IT service delivery and transformation under the oversight of and in collaboration with USACE OCIO/G-6. The places of performance for IT services includes multiple locations within CONUS and OCONUS (e.g., the territories of Guam, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, and Korea, Japan, and Germany).

The program uses Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices for IT Service Management (ITSM) that focuses on solutions that have an integrated, enterprise-wide focus to deliver shared IT services that align USACE OCIO/G-6 services with the needs of its customers and end users.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • A minimum of five years of experience (within the last seven years) planning, directing, coordinating, and managing proposed methodologies and approach for a project or program similar in scope and complexity(a minimum of 200 full time equivalent personnel, staffing at multiple locations, and $50M per year in revenue). This includes managing an IT program or project with multiple places of performance worldwide and a dispersed workforce; frequent procurement of materials and equipment; and employee relations. This may include managing subcontractors, cost, budget, and milestones.

  • An active Program Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional certification or PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.

  • An activeTopSecret security clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • A minimum of five years of experience (within the last seven years) in the management and control of complex information systems architectures spanning a minimum of 11 states within the USA, user and network systems integration, and cloud-based services

  • A minimum of five years of experience executing tasks in compliance with Federal, DoD, and agency regulations, standards, guidelines, and frameworks including the DoD Zero-Trust Architecture and RMF.

  • A minimum of five years of experience managing programs and/or projects within a classified environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Compter Science or related field with 12 years of experience

  • Experience as a Program Manager for large Enterprise IT efforts supporting the US Army or US Army Corps of Engineers

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
