The Opportunity

The CFS OCM Senior Specialist is a senior member of the CFS team whose primary role is to partner with the OCM Lead and Business to ensure that the CFS OCM global approach aligns with project/program objectives which will enable a successful go live/implementation/roll-out. He/she will lead multiple projects and will play a critical role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives on time and by increasing employee adoption and usage. They will be able to coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. He/she will partner with the business to ensure organizational change management is integrated into assigned projects and meets program/project objectives. This includes planning change activities and milestones, engaging stakeholders to get buy-in, and communicating and implementing changes. This role will also support the increasing focus on the people side of digital technologies, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organizational structures.

What You’ll Work On

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption in line with the company’s overall CFS goals.

  • Leverages Abbott’s CFS change management and training methodology

  • Establishes and maintains productive relationships with all levels in Finance, CFS/SSO, business functions, and with external partners

  • OCM Global Projects: CFS and Enterprise Wide Initiatives:

  • Leads key elements of the OCM Approach document(s), and executes on actionable, targeted plans, including communication plan, stakeholder management plan, change impacts, and training plan.

  • Identifies potential project-related people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develops specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns

  • Manages the development/delivery of training, role mapping, measure business readiness, support pre implementation-controlled release and sustainment, and contribute to Phase assessments.

  • Develop Super Users: Identify and train key individuals who will become experts in the new system and provide ongoing support to their peers.

  • Train-the-Trainer Programs: Implement programs where selected trainers are educated on the new system and then train other users, ensuring widespread knowledge and skills.

  • Post-Go-Live Sustainment: Establish strategies and resources to maintain and support the new system after it goes live, ensuring long-term success and user adoption.

  • Defines and measures organization readiness, establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication, training and other change management vehicles and user understanding

  • Assembles, mobilizes and manages a voice of the customer (VOC).

  • Communicates complex role, process and technology changes clearly and succinctly o Integrate data analytics and business intelligence solutions across teams to improve performance

  • Knowledge Solutions: o Lead the establishment of a comprehensive metrics program to facilitate the collection of global learning and development data across CFS e.g. BEX Training, RDA Academy

  • Identify and implement knowledge management solutions to support and sustain the metrics program.

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills needed to adopt new technologies, systems and processes.

  • Working with SMEs, conducts end user knowledge transfer needs assessment.

  • Designs & develops reference materials to deliver knowledge transfer in an effective manner. As required, create website content, presentations, reference materials. Meets the target dates according to the project plan.

  • Proactively meets with business partners to align and ensure the learning solution recommendations and deliverables are adequate to meet current and future business needs.

  • Supports user adoption by developing role-based solutions, and manage compliance and reporting

  • Project Management o Leads department level projects or aids Program or Project managers on phases of a larger project.

  • Support and manage elements of a project/programs role management and training environment, as well as provide oversight related to other training tasks and deliverables.

The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
