The Opportunity

This position works out of our Waukegan, IL location in the Business Solutions & Services division. As the Director of IT Process Integration, you’ll have the chance to set the enterprise process model for the Order to Cash (OTC) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions, steward cross-ERP solution design, and drive innovation within your functional domain. You will use your strong SAP design, development, and configuration experience to drive the ERP solution roadmap across Abbott’s portfolio of ERP programs.

What You’ll Work On

For the assigned functions of OTC and SCM:

• Set and enforce standards for global ERP solutioning

• Optimize technical solutions from an end-to-end perspective across ERP instances at Abbott

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to plan, define, and validate high-level designs across programs and projects

• Collaborate closely with Global Process Owners to optimize functional outcomes

• Provide delivery teams with the design guidance for new solutions to ensure process standards are applied to solution build

• Set technical direction and resolve escalated project and cross-project issues

• Serve as design signoff authority for Key Design Decisions for global processes

• Manage and govern overall ERP solution architecture, including edge systems integration

• Contribute to roadmap development for integrated system through frequent collaboration and logical infrastructure application aligned with Abbott objectives

• Communicate enterprise ERP vision, strategy, and business drivers to non-technical stakeholders

• Consult with domain architects on domain-specific standards (e.g., Security, Privacy, Data, Network, Platform) as needed

• Promote standardization and technical debt reduction throughout technology landscape

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or another relevant discipline

• 15+ years of IT and ERP experience in large global companies

• Deep knowledge and previous hands-on experience with SAP ERP system, with demonstrated implementation experience in Order to Cash (OTC) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions

• Experience in setting IT or business strategy and business IT alignment

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize demands across a portfolio of projects and programs to optimize results for the enterprise

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SAP ECC functionality is required; SAP S4 experience strongly preferred

• Familiarity with other ERP systems (via integration and/or migration experience) is preferred

• Experience in complex environments with a wide variety of interfaced applications preferred

The base pay for this position is $143,300.00 – $286,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
