Abbott Pricing Analyst in Waukegan, Illinois

The position of Pricing Analyst is within our Contracting and Pricing department located in Lake Forest, IL. This role will assist with meeting the division’s strategic direction and tactical implementation of building and driving pricing governance to ensure that division goals are achieved. Will interface with customers, sales and other internal support functions to ensure consistency and understand their business needs and the impact of market conditions to the overall sales objective.

·Primarilyresponsible for review, approval, implementation, and renewal management ofend-customer contract pricing;
·Supportthe sales force as it relates to tailoring custom enterprise pricing structures;
·Contributeto the renewal management of enterprise contract pricing;
·Conductsales and internal training as it relates to pricing approval;
·Overseedatabase maintenance as it relates to product pricing;
·Collaboratewith internal departments on new product launches and product reviews;
Responsibility for analysisof current process and continued review for improvement;
·Performanalysis of enterprise account pricing data and for purposes of providing reportingto leadership;
·Maintainpricing performance metrics of enterprise level accounts up for renewal;
·Actas a resource to the sales organization in regards to current pricing policiesand programs;
· Understandsand is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improperperformance of their specific job; has awareness of device defects that mayoccur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verificationand validation, manufacturing and testing activities;
·Responsiblefor exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external businessassociates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with thecompany’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external workingrelationships;
·Carriesout duties in compliance with established business policies;
·Otherduties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
·Bachelor’s degree preferred
·1+ years of relatedexperience
·Experience inMedical Device, Diagnostics sector or a highly regulated industry;
·Intermediate-to-advancedcomputer skills (Excel, Word);
·Knowledge of pricingstrategies;
·Working knowledge ofSalesforce.com CRM;
·Experience workingwith or in a sales environment;
·Ability toconsistently provide clear and concise written and verbal communications, goodpresentation skills;
·Analyticalcapabilities and critical-thinking skills;
·Experience withmarket knowledge and analytics;
·Ability to travel;
