BAE Systems Program Director, IT & Security in Wayne, New Jersey
Job Description
This IT & Security Program Director role will be responsible for business planning, team leadership, program management, and ES Engineering collaboration for development of our enterprise level Secret Virtual Cloud Computing Center (S-VC3). The S-VC3 project will design, build, and integrate an enterprise scale strategic network environment to support existing and new DoD Collateral work performed across ES & INC U.S. geographic sites. The project will directly leverage the Common Engineering Classified Environment (CECE) as a foundation, invest to deliver modern cloud native technology and services, and undertake consolidation of up to 100 classified program unique networks to form a single Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency / National Authorization Office (DCSA/NAO) authorized environment. This environment will provide a scalable multi-region cloud native environment to support engineering development, collaboration services, and automated end-user services modeled after and unified with the Virtual Cloud Computing Center (VC3). This is an exciting opportunity for a strategically oriented Sr Business Leader to lead and organize a highly capable team of Engineering, IT & Security, and Business Stakeholders to realize our Strategic Vision for these large-scale collaboration environments.
Specific responsibilities include:
Organizes engagement with ES / INC stakeholders to capture business needs and requirements
Leads development of a shared vision and program execution strategy
Leads multi-year integrated business planning (IBP) to secure Capital and Expense resources
Leads & supports project organizational planning, staffing initiatives, and staff development
Builds, develops, and leads a cohesive and high performing team to meet program objectives
Leads program planning, execution, control, and reporting for the S-VC3 Program
Leads project risk and opportunity management planning and execution to meet program objectives
Collaborates with ES Engineering, Operations, and IT & Security leaders to secure functional support
Collaborates with ES Engineering to unify VC3 and S-VC3 capabilities, workloads, and operations
Collaborates with ES BAs and Program Teams to deliver on program requirements
Serves as the Information Systems Owner (ISO) for the S-VC3 environment
Assures success in attaining DCSA authorizations, maintaining compliance to DoD requirements, and customer security support for programs operating as tenants in the S-VC3 environment
Leads overall strategy development to efficiently rationalize facilities, tools, and O&M support throughout consolidation of our 100 program unique network environments
Establishes and leads reporting of metrics for O&M continuous improvements
Keeps abreast of future directions of Information Systems technologies and best practices
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Business acumen and working level experience in support of business operations
Leadership in building high performing cross functional teams Program Management fundamentals, including planning, monitoring, control, reporting, and organization wide communications and influence
Working level experience in Classified Program Requirements and Operating Environments
Working level experience in Engineering Workloads performed in Classified Environments
Working level experience and mindset in Agile Development and Project Management Methods
Working level experience in Classified Area infrastructure Projects
High Executive Presence and Networking abilities with Sr Leaders
Ability to work across multiple functions / organizations and build trusted working relationships
Ability to handle conflict and resolve difficult situations
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills ability to shape and organize communications of technology solutions to non-technical stakeholders
Strong leadership competencies and operates with executive presence
Self-directed, proactive, detail oriented, and an ability to multi-task
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Background and knowledge of working in closed or classified environments
Demonstrated record of capturing and developing business requirements
Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree preferred
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $164000 - $278800
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
