Job Purpose and Impact

The Accounting Associate I, will act as a point of contact for selected regional partners or processes to support the US Income Tax Department. In this role, you will support the tax team in the organization by conducting tasks following standard procedures

Key Accountabilities

  • Verify the accuracy of accounting documents or records, including detailed financial business transactions.

  • Ensure all internal controls are in place and monitored, financial processes are performed timely and accurately and in compliance with regulatory policies.

  • Participate in process improvement projects within US Income tax team.

  • Participate in other initiatives and provide support for roles in the area of US Income tax team.

  • Handle basic clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent

  • Strong team player and ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner with required quality

  • Knowledge of accounting and/or finance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
