Job Purpose and Impact

The Corporate Responsibility Specialist will plan and implement corporate responsibility programs and projects aligned with the Cargill Foundation and the company’s social impact priorities. In this role, you will manage and cultivate relationships with partners working in STEM education and college and career readiness to further the foundation’s mission of closing the opportunity gap for BIPOC children in Cargill’s headquarters community. You will also support the development of global programs that advance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in Cargill’s operating and supply chain communities.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, coordinate and implement Corporate Responsibility and Cargill Foundation DEI and education programs and projects

• Support Cargill Business Resource Groups in identifying developing favorable relationships within local communities.

• Engage employees in corporate responsibility programs and events.

• Represent the company in meetings with key community stakeholders and partners.

• Execute programs and partnerships in accordance with the relevant contribution policies and external regulations and procedures.

• Drive the implementation of Corporate Responsibility and Cargill Foundation policies, tools and processes

• Assist with program evaluation, analysis and reporting

• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

• Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Strong project management skills

• Knowledge and experience in corporate philanthropy, foundation, nonprofit or government work

• Minimum of two years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Grantmaking experience in Education or DEI fields

• Knowledge and experience in racial equity work in Minneapolis – Saint Paul, MN

• Previous work with global stakeholders

• Experience working in a large matrixed organization
