The Xerox Global Procurement (GP) Global Business Operations (GBO) team ensures the entire GP community has the information they need to effectively negotiate and manage supplier contracts and that they have the processes and tools necessary to procure goods and services for internal use or on behalf of customers.

The GP Business Analyst is responsible for delivering high quality and in depth data analyses to both GP team members as well as internal Value Chain Partners (VCPs). It also includes leading activities to improve categorization, data integrity, capturing missing spend and enriching data from third party sources for our Business Intelligence (BI) analytics program.

The GP Business Analyst will also support other GP projects focused on the development, design, redesign and/or implementation of new or improved business processes. In this role, the GP Business Analyst will work on the collection of global, internal customer requirements and the subsequent development and execution of project plans, process diagrams and metrics while working collaboratively with Procurement Managers.

This individual will have full accountability for his or her own work. While some assignments are received in the form of objectives, the GP Business Analyst is expected to also proactively identify areas of opportunity and improvement.

Major Responsibilities

  • Primary data analyst for all supplier spend inquiries fromGP team members/managers and VCPs.

  • Primary consultant for escalated BI problems being able todirectly query and analyze data as necessary.

  • Leads or supports process improvement projects focused onthe development, design, redesign and/or implementation of new or improved GPbusiness processes.

  • Leads or supports process improvement projects focused ongovernance of various GP processes, operations, and systems.

  • Gathers and maintains knowledge of industry best practicesto support business process improvement and/or reengineering projects.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with GPCommodity/Supplier Managers/ Business Partners, and GP Systems team members.

  • Develops/maintains general understanding of businessfunctions, processes and process-flows across GP needed to support projects andCommodity/Supplier Managers.

  • Maintains a broad understanding of the processes used tostrategically source and manage suppliers.

  • Acts as a change agent to increase the effectiveness andefficiency of procurement processes used to support Commodity and/or SupplierManagers.

  • Interface with GP team members, VCPs, and all levels ofXerox personnel.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree Preferred –Business Management, Statistics or other related field.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent project management skillshighly desirable.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a fieldrelated to Analytics, Data Systems, or Engineering.

  • Demonstrated systematic, analytical approach to problemsolving.

  • Proven advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.

  • Proven experience with Business Intelligence or ananalytical background with demonstrated experience in either Tableau, Power BI,or other analytics tools.

  • General understanding of database systems and theirunderlying system architecture.

  • Procurement related work experience is highly desirable.

  • Procurement contract, sourcing, and supplier management experiencehighly desirable.

  • Microsoft SharePoint capable or ability to learn isdesirable.

  • Has good interpersonal skills and is confident in dealingwith internal clients/users and suppliers.

  • Viewed as a responsible, responsive, flexible, accountableand collaborative.

  • Excellent communication and customer support skills.

  • Possesses general understanding of the role played by GlobalProcurement within a corporate business setting.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and to adapt andparticipate in a fast changing environment.

  • Required knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
