Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy & Execution, the US Cross-Platform Digital Commercialization Lead will focus on ensuring commercialization excellence for orthopedics digital health solutions in the United States. The digital solutions will be used pre-operatively, during surgical planning, and intra and post operatively – to support processes such as pre-surgical planning, scheduling, and care navigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, structure, and lead the commercialization of digital surgery / software-based solutions and enabling technologies throughout the episode of care (pre-operatively, during surgical planning, and intra and post operatively).

  • Provide end-to-end project management through the digital surgery commercialization lifecycle, from value proposition development to pilot stage through full-scale implementation.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, enabling technology teams, the Strategic Customer Group, and third party agencies to define the value proposition for digital surgery solutions; oversee the development of high-quality marketing collateral, sales tools, and training materials; and build and test go-to-market models and commercialization approaches.

  • Develop sales and contracting strategies, segmentation and targeting approaches, and implementation plans to introduce digital surgery solutions in the hospital and ambulatory surgery center spaces.

  • Build strong relationships with the field sales organization and enabling technologies team to ensure successful launch and scaling of digital surgery solutions. Collaborate on targeted marketing strategies, including professional education, new technology promotion, and product launches.

  • Collaborate with finance partners to manage the P&L for digital surgery solutions.

  • Assess customer feedback gathered to influence go-to-market and strategic sales decisions, and partner with global marketing and R&D to shape the digital surgery roadmap. Identify and prioritize key customer organizations to create and promote best-in-class success references.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of go-to-market, commercialization, and/or sales strategy and marketing experience in medical technology, digital health, or healthcare IT.

  • Significant healthcare experience with provider stakeholders including HCPs / surgeons, corporate executives within IDNs / health systems, and hospital administrators and decision support functions - preferably in a sales or client service capacity.

  • 3+ years of demonstrable leadership with direct reports.

  • Proven ability to effectively position and message products and implement marketing programs to drive product adoption - particularly for medical technology, digital health, and / or healthcare IT solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively amidst competing priorities to deliver high-impact marketing programs on-time and within budget to support overall marketing strategy and business objectives.

  • Superior verbal/written communication and presentation skills, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills to work across multiple constituents.

  • Results-driven attitude & a resolve to win; must be self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design, structure, and lead projects are required.

  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize and plan.

  • Must adhere to the highest standards of integrity, ethics and compliance, and actively support our compliance program-related initiatives, programs, trainings, and activities.

  • Ability to travel up to 40%.

Education

  • BA/BS, MBA Preferred

Preferred

  • Experience working in healthcare IT, medical technology, and digital health contracting is preferred.

  • Experience leading teams with direct reports is preferred.

  • Experience working with a field sales organization made up of distributors and direct managers is preferred
