Job Description

Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.

Our Research & Development Division IT Reporting Lead is responsible for the overall architecture and delivery of all IT related aspects of HRM reporting solution including data replication, ETL, modeling of reporting data marts and databases, setting up reporting metadata frameworks and creating content utilizing front end reporting tools. It is critical we have a Sr. Specialist employee with this skill set in order to drive reporting vision and strategy, execute on that strategy and ensue targeted business value is attained through our reporting solutions.

Education:

  • B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. (preferred) or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Prerequisites:

  • A minimum of 5 years of Life Sciences IT and business facing experience.

  • Experience working with Regulatory systems, preferably Health Registration Management (HRM) tools such as CALYX or VEEVA Registration Information Management (RIM) tools. Must have domain knowledge of regulatory data.

  • Ability to lead reporting solution implementations though a full life cycle from pilot and prototyping through production delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence, reporting and analytics best practices and methodologies including the ability to solution and architect multifaceted reporting solutions.

  • Strong experience in managing and overseeing diverse teams of resources working on reporting solutions including reporting database and ETL design, reporting metadata and front-end reporting developers.

  • Hands-on experience in working with and developing solutions utilizing various reporting and analytics tools including Spotfire, Cognos, Business Objects, PowerBI, Qlik, and others.

  • Hands-on including basic programming, reporting programming and SQL querying skills.

  • Design and develop technical/functional specification for ETL and reporting data mart, and reporting foundation layer development.

  • Demonstrates history of working with complex and highly integrated IT and business systems.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and/or Safety IT, and relevant business areas

  • Architecture, integration, interfaces, portals, and/or analytics

  • Documentum, Calyx, Veeva Vault RIM, Cognos Reporting tools, workflow tools (Appian, TIBCO, Active Matrix, Uipath), and API frameworks (Apigee)

  • Validated health authority regulatory (HAR) capabilities, SDLC, inspection and audits.

  • On premise system implementations, Cloud capabilities, and software as a service (SaaS)

  • Agile Methodology and working within a Product Model.

$107,600.00 - $169,400.00
