Job Summary:
Caterpillar Marketing & Brand currently has an opening for a Content Strategy Manager, supporting Caterpillar’s loyalty program, Cat Vantage Rewards.
As the Content Strategy Manager, you will be working with a team that is responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of Caterpillar’s customer loyalty program, Cat Vantage Rewards. This role provides expertise in developing content and messaging that meets the customer where they are. Your key responsibility will be guiding customers to enroll and engage in Cat Vantage rewards across our channels. The content strategist will work with creative agency to determine the best content formats to ensure that we attract prospects and ensure high customer engagement.
What You Will Do:
Guide Cat Vantage Rewards content and touchpoints that align with business strategies and meeting customers where they are in their sales and parts purchasing journey, both on and offline.
Develop personalized content based on customer segmentation and activity in Cat Vantage Rewards.
Work closely with data analysts and performance marketing teams to develop or improve messaging and marketing materials.
Partner with creative agency to guide content development and placement throughout our channels and in campaigns. Be the team lead in reviewing and the development of media campaigns.
Review and provide quarterly analysis of emerging rewards programs and their tactics to reach customers.
Support the leadership to understand gaps and opportunities in messaging for Caterpillar employees and Caterpillar dealers.
Work closely with insights, research, UX and CX teams to understand customer journeys and develop voice of customer quarterly research questions.
Create a comprehensive content calendar to collaborate with cross-functional teams and align marketing campaigns.
Working with the legal and compliance team to ensure the content complies with content governance guidelines and policies.
What You Will Have:

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
Considerations For Top Candidates:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field OR equivalent working experience
5-7 years experience in developing programs that provide value to customers. Loyalty program experience is a plus.
Ability to partner and collaborate across the enterprise and provide cross-functional leadership.
Customer-back mindset and ability to take customer insights and data to influence and content, marketing and messaging.
Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and learn quickly.
Extensive experience with content creation, strategy building and content marketing.
Experience working with content management systems (CMS).
Working knowledge of search engine marketing (SEM) and strong knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO).
Excellent planning and management skills to oversee multiple content campaigns.
Developed and/or led email and social campaigns.
Understanding of UX designs and research.
A customer-back mindset by recognizing and advocating for customer and dealer value drivers.

Summary Pay Range:
$106,194.25 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
