You are:
A passionate Production Technician who can deliver mechanical insights, troubleshoot mechanical machines and ensure quality assurance. You are a forward thinker who acts with purposefulness and speed and is committed to championing new ideas and creativity while using humor and positivity to build a winning team.
You will:
As a Production Technician you will:
Perform hands-on testing on finished product on manufacturing line
Identify and troubleshoot problems occurring at final product testing.
Act as a SME and become interface between production and quality along with communicating production challenges and solutions.
Analyze machinery and tools to report faults and broken items.
Issue reports as requested.
Work under minimum supervision, prioritizing workload, and interfacing with multiple personnel/departments.
Assist process engineering and production with creating tool and fixture to improve operation efficient and reduce quality defects.
Assist with training/providing feedback co-workers and production personnel as needed based on test findings.
Work with plant quality to collect data at testing station and provide inputs as needed to take corrective/preventative actions and create a robust quality process.
Your background:
As a Production Technician you have:
Preferred experience with Pitney Bowes product; especially Mail insertion
Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and high level systemic issues
Computer skills- familiarly with MS operating systems, Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word) suite including 0365 (knowledge of SAP is a plus).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with new technology (Tablets, Online spreadsheets, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and documented requirements.
Experience working with mechanical inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height stands, optical comparator and thread gages.
The ability to perform mechanical inspections from simple checks to first article layouts of complicated parts. Be able to maintain accurate records.
Minimum of High School diploma, technical school or college preferred
2-5 years field or service experience- Mechanical, Electrical and functional repair
Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay Rate 31.25 per hour
