Description

* JOB SUMMARY:*

Performs and coordinates strategic acquisitions of varying complexities for indirect products and services. Acts as the liaison representative for multiple Textron business units for the Indirect Center of Excellence located at Textron Aviation in Wichita, KS.

* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*

  1. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with Textron customers while brining ICoE philosophies and supply management discipline to the process

  2. Provides great customer experiences by working with Textron business unit customers for business services, including but not limited to: Facilities, EHS, Food Services, Marketing & Advertising, and HR Services. Assists with developing sourcing strategy and purchase order placement related activities

  3. Contracts Textron related indirect purchases and services at the discretion of the relevant ICoE Commodity Manager. Coordinates with ICoE on contract strategy to determine best value between existing Textron Enterprise v. a business unit’s specific contract

  4. Identifies customer requirements for sourcing projects via Statement of Work (SOW) creation/assistance

  5. Works with business unit/ICoE procurement on sourcing projects to facilitate the RFx process

  6. Leads supplier contract negotiations, re-negotiations, and contract amendments/addendums in support of Textron business unit strategy

  7. Identifies and delivers ICoE/Textron cost savings initiaties as planned and forecasted

  8. Maintains and supports existing Textron contracts with amendment updates, SOW revisions, and contract extensions

  9. Updates ICoE Office of Records with the most current contract documents

  10. Understands and utilizes supply chain management strategies to drive breakthrough performance in current metrics and future metrics

Qualifications

* EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:*

  • Bachelor’s degree required in:

  • Business

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Other related field

* QUALIFICATONS:*

  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office suite

  • Must possess strong negotiation, analytical, program management, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate to achieve desired goals and results

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to identify and maintain a high degree of confidentiality when necessary

  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency

  • Ability to manage competing demands and frequent changes in the work environment while managing time effectively to meet deadlines

  • Exposure to SCM preferred

  • Six Sigma experience/exposure preferred
