Job Purpose and Impact

The Project Delivery Engineer will plan, support, and where applicable, execute engineering deliverables for one or more of our broad core technology or engineering area. We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan, design and estimate time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems and components.

  • Analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures.

  • Design and improve manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Position information

This position could work remotely, but relocation can be provided to these areas: Minneapolis-Minnesota, Wichita-Kansas, Butler-Wisconsin.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, Or equivalent years of working experience.

  • Four years of related work experience in operation, maintenance, engineering areas.

  • Able to Travel up to 50% of the time (by plane or driving to visit other locations)

  • Capital projects, project management and construction management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Plant Utilities

  • Understanding of PI (data historian), ACAD (auto CAD), MS Project, SAP

  • OSHA safety training

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
